    Abstract: 目的與方法：調查台灣傳統店屋內部的中庭空間之應用狀況，利用面談與問卷進行試驗性的調查，目前針對約八十份問卷以比對其中的空間保存認知程度。結果：接近半數的受訪者的中庭空間已加蓋成為營業空間，其因甚廣，多半是空間不足與防水因素等；而且在各老街上有增加的趨勢。推論：如果民眾不再對這類中庭持有興趣，老街就只會剩下騎樓空間與建築立面而已。
