Abstract:	「一次台灣的機會改變世界會實現」為期十一天的第八屆世界運動會於高雄市開創歷史性的一刻，103個國家的參與，全球數億的觀眾共同見證發光發熱的高雄市，並獲得國際世界運動總會的高度讚賞。其對於高雄市所帶來的影響是長遠且深刻的，綜觀賽前籌備、開閉幕、舉辦，乃至於賽後如何維持賽事期間的盛況，吸引大批觀光人潮，進而的帶動在地產業發展，實為高雄市須重視的課題之一，故本研究從2009世界會對高雄市之城市國際行銷與城市意象、經濟影響與關聯產業分析、市民參與及志工行為三面向作一綜合性的深入探討與鏈結，以瞭解其影響程度及延伸 “A chance to lead change” The 8th World Game, held in Kaohsiung, was the moment of historic significance.
