Abstract:	台灣在二十世紀末社區意識抬頭，先有李登輝先生為推動臺灣優先而提倡的「社區生命共同體」，繼有陳其南先生引進日本制度而在文建會推動的「社區總體營造」，並在臺灣各縣市如火如荼的展開。社區（Community ）是現代社會中另一種形式的聚落，經由日常生活的接觸而形成一個集合，或許會打破鄰里行政界限，或許是建築商所推出的社區開發所形成，或許因為有明確的界線，或是由於地域認同、血緣認同、甚至是學習圈認同（學區關係）。
