    Abstract: Here, the force-element method gives us a better understanding of
    why the highest lift-to-drag ratio occurs at the flap size of around 2%
    of chord, as shown in Table 3. The main reasons are found as follows:
    1) The Gurney flap of 2 % chord increases drast
