此質性研究探討了臺灣的大學英文相關課系的課程大綱,來檢視其課程大綱的項目是否符合過去文獻中所提到的重要課綱項目. 以期增進學生學習成效. 研究問題包含: 過去文獻所提及的重要課綱項目有哪些? 英文相關科系的課程大綱和文獻提及的重要項目一致性程度為何? 從過去文獻中可否歸納出所有重要的課綱項目? 此研究共使用了三個研究工具檢核表來檢視235份13所國立大學與9所私立大學的7科英文相關科系必修科目(文學, 英語教學, 會話, 語言學, 西洋文學概論, 作文, 翻譯)的課程大綱. 三個檢核表分別為 課程大綱總 This exploratory, qualitative research explored the extent that course syllabi in the Departments of English in 13 public and 9 private universities in Taiwan reflect the inclusion of syllabus components to promote learning as recommended in the literatur
