    Abstract: 縱觀H.264/AVC編碼規格,可以發現以品質提升為出發點的規格改良上,經常導致計算時間直線性的成長;舉凡畫面內預測(Intra Prediction)、多參考幀的移動補償(Multiple reference pictures for motion compensation)、變動區塊的模式選擇(Mode Decision)等等新規格皆有此特點。就多參考幀的移動補償而言,以往的編碼法經常只拿前一張畫面當成編碼參考對象,事實上最相似的區塊可能存在於前面的數張之中,因此H.264/AVC在規格上提供了多參考
