Abstract:	隨著多媒體的應用範圍日漸擴大，多媒體資料內涵式分析成為當前的研究焦點。在各種多媒體資料之中，電影為一內含大量影音資訊的多媒體。而目前的數位電影資料的儲存與交換媒介中，目前仍以DVD 作為標準主流格式。而在DVD 所使用的影音規格中，又以MPEG-2 視訊和AC-3 音訊最為常見。由於電影資料過於龐大，要整部影片直接進行分析並不容易，因此將電影以電影的場景結構做分割，能有助於對電影資料作內涵式之分析與應用。在本篇論文中，我們提出一種利用AC-3 音訊特徵來分類景的方法。我們先從原始電影資料中切割出各個獨立的 As applications of multimedia are getting popular, content-based analysis of multimedia data has become of the most important research topics.
