Abstract:	由於傳統的交通特性觀測，大都採用現場攝影的方式再搭配室內人工判讀，除了耗費大量的人力與時間外，對於機車等車型尺寸較小之車種，亦往往難以清楚辨識，一旦判讀的人員稍不注意，即可能產生很大的誤差，因此本研究為求資料分析之效率性與精確性，減少人工判讀之誤差，乃針對大型重型機車行駛快速道路之交通特性參數蒐集的需求，利用Visual Basic.Net語言開發一套影像判讀處理分析系統，自動偵測車種、車速與車間距離，並加以驗證應用，探討大型重型機車在台68線武陵路匝道、台68線17Km處、台68線20Km處及台72線玉
