    Abstract: 腳踏車為台灣地區國中生通學之主要交通工具,依據教育部校安中心統計,民國93至95年間,校園安全事件通報中,交通意外連續三年高居第一位。另外,從台灣地區腳踏車頭部外傷患者年齡分析可知,10~19歲年齡層的腳踏車頭部外傷患者比例最高,達35.2%,進一步分析發現,13~15歲國中生年齡層患者占10~19歲患者比例高達45%,顯示腳踏車意外傷害已對國中生通學安全造成莫大的影響。鑒於目前國內對於腳踏車安全分析或腳踏車環境規劃之相關研究,大多仍集中在旅遊景點或遊憩性質之腳踏車道,對於學生通學環境之腳踏車安全研究則甚
