    Abstract: 交通事故為學生意外事件最大主因，故交通安全教育為學生安全教育的重點項目。另外，各學校應逐年建立學童於校內外所發生交通事故次數之統計資料，並配合學區內經常發生之交通事故類型，加強相關交通安全常識與技能之教學輔導；且應該針對地區交通安全之特殊問題，發展符合在地需要之交通安全教育課程內容。因此，本研究乃透過問卷設計與調查分析，調查國小中年級學童家長對交通安全教育課程內容之重要性看法，經由敘述統計分析、K平均數分群演算法及推論統計t檢定後，確立九項家長認為較重要之教材主題，本研究結果可作為國小中年級學童交通安全教
