Abstract:	行人在交叉路口穿越道路之步行速率為行人交通事故鑑定與行人號誌時制設計的重要參數。鑑於國人與外國人生理特徵並不相同，且道路交通環境亦有所差異，因此有必要針對台灣民眾在不同環境特性與生理特徵下，進行行人步行速率之調查與研究，並建立步行速率資料庫以供相關應用之參考。本研究以一般成人為研究對象，針對1,697位女性單一行人、1,794位男性單一行人、1,484組兩人群體及260組三人以上群體穿越路口之步行速率進行攝影觀測與統計分析。分析結果發現男性成人之步行速率高於女性成人之步行速率，而步行時群體人數愈多，步行速
