Abstract:	從過去的研究中發現，國人從事規律運動的人口只有三成左右，而無規律運動的人口約多達65-80％。可見參與運動的風氣尚有待提升。然而在有限編制人力與經費的壓力下，推廣體育活動並非體育科系畢業者方能實施。在我們的社會中有許多非體育科系畢業者也默默從事社區體育志工工作。本研究乃以種族圖誌學途徑 (ethnographic approach) 探索某大學教職員桌球社團中，一位非體育科系畢業者卻熱忱推廣桌球運動的情形。本研究利用質性研究之田野觀察法 (field observation)及深度訪談法 (in-dept
