Abstract:	歷來，日語的擬聲．擬態語一向被視為修飾動詞的副詞，只是，它亦可與其它語詞相結合，而另組成複合語，但是有關此現象的探討目前並不多見。因此，本論文將針對此類語詞與其它語詞相結合時的現象，特別是另組成複合名詞時，其字意上的特殊性、以及每一個組合成的複合名詞彼此之間有何相關性等做更深入地探討。因而獲得如下結論。其一是若從字意上探討組合成的複合名詞本身的話，那麼可以知道的是，所成形的複合名詞中，以表示事物的靜態屬性之名詞為數最多。也正因如此，與象聲詞相結合的名詞之中，以表現「人或人身體的某部份」的名詞、以及表現「 The onomatopoeia is usually used as an adverb to modify a verb.
