Abstract:	明治30年代至明治40年代(1897-1912)，日本社會興起一股傳統色彩濃厚之修養主義，其乃具有人自身之自我形成或社會教化等各種思想意義，成為爾後大正教養主義之前身。而關於此主義，先行研究有的自政治史觀點或教育史觀點出發，視之為一種「臣民」意識型態或一種「立身出世主義」閉塞之產物等，然而卻皆不大論及其思想上之性格。本發表乃2011年度國科會研究計畫之研究成果之一環，自思想史觀點重新出發，統計分析修養書之折衷傾向實態，並聚焦考察其中基督教陣營松村介石等之情形，以此檢討當時基督教與儒教、禪宗等傳統思想折衷之 During Meiji 30 and 40 (1897-1912), a Shuyoshugi (thought of self-cultivation) full of traditions arised in Japan society.
