    Abstract: DMSO在工業應用相較於乙醇具有較高的安全性,且因為具有高沸點的特性,更是一種適合回收再利用的環保型溶劑,且價格較為低廉,因此DMSO被大量的使用在各種工業。DMSO具有很高的滲透壓,且對生物具有毒性,隨著DMSO的大量使用,使得廢水中含有殘留的DMSO,若不加以處理DMSO又會被厭氧分解還原成具有惡臭的物質-二甲基硫(Dimethyl Sulfide, DMS),其含量在低濃度時即有明顯臭味產生,極容易超過臭味標準。
    因此,若能開發一套解決廢水中DMSO的處理技術,同等於防止其還原成DMS,造成光電業V
