    -台灣地區過去十年的氣溫，是百年來最高的十年。
    -近百年來台灣年平均溫度較全球溫度上升度數高了一倍多。
    -台灣的都會地區在夏季市中心與市郊有顯著之溫差。
    -台灣溫暖化情形比全球更嚴重。

    -台灣本土的環境議題
    .雨量豐沛的缺水國。
    .進口能源依存度偏高，約99％能源仰賴外國供應。
    . 建築產業耗能量約佔全國總耗能28.30%。
    .建築廢棄物年產量達1,100萬公噸。
    .垃圾問題、河川污染嚴重。
