    Abstract: 於臺灣,近年甚多污水處理廠被計畫設置於近海岸河口周邊,而廣大西部海岸多為級配不佳、低強度之飽和砂土。因為,於污水處理廠之興建上,勢必含開挖支撐、地下室等設施,故此等擋土設施之安全性有待探討。為此,本研究以元素試驗法,推導擋土牆之破壞位移量,以供設計參考及施工預警用。
    本研究以自行開發之自動化三軸試驗儀,對飽和渥太華砂施行 壓密、側向伸張試驗,藉以模擬擋土牆繞底旋轉,從靜止狀態外移至主動破壞狀態過程中背土之抗剪行為。即據以觀察試體之軸向應變 與有效軸差應力 之關係,從( ~ )曲線中找出主動狀態之側向應變量
