Abstract:	至2007年止台灣農地總面積825,900公頃，如以現行法規每0.25公頃即可興建獨棟農舍來計算，總共可興建3,303,600(825,900/0.25)棟農舍，如此對於台灣生態與農業將帶來嚴重破壞。為了減少此一情況發生的可能，政府於國民八十九年修正部份農業發展條例內容，包含將目前散村形態的農村現況改以導向集村形態來發展。但自民國九十一年至民國九十九年十月間之統計，全國集村農舍申請案共計85件，期數量明顯稀疏，由此證明政府對於集村政策之推動成效不彰，仍存有潛在之問題。現今推動集村之誘因主要是以金錢上的獎 Up to 2007, Taiwan has 825,900 hectares of agricultural land area.
